Due to personal reasons Southern Souls Band have to cancel all shows between July and
August. The band deeply apologize for all the inconvenience, all the problems and disappointments it will force. The band will start touring again later this year.
 

Roger Rapp, one of the guitarists in Southern Souls Band, was selected as the best guitarist
of the night, during Sweden Rock Tribute at Nöjesfabriken in Karlstad. The price, a new
Epiphone Les Paul, was given by the music chain 4Sound.

of the thirty five best tribute bands in Sweden for the third year out of three. The nomination
put's the band in a position as the best southern rock tribute band in the country.

For the 10th year, the Bands Of Dixie magazine organizes a poll for their readers to choose
the best individual artists, band and record. For the year 2007, Southern Souls Band are
nomineated with their latest CD, A Tribute To Ronnie Van Zant & Lynyrd Skynyrd.
 

Southern Souls band are proud to announce that the band is confirmed for three shows at
Muskegon Bike Time in July 2008. Over 20.000 bikes and 60.000 people visited the lakeshore community of Muskegon, Michigan, for the event in 2007.
 

Roger Rapp, original guitarist of Southern Souls Band, has rejoined the band after a short
break. With the current line up the band is back to the sound and feeling that has become
the trademark of the band.
 

It was with a great sadness we took part of the announcement, that Hughie Thomasson,
one of the greatest guitarists in the world, passed away late Sunday. We will remember
him as the founder of  The Outlaws, but also for his over all contribution to the rock music.
 

Rikard Hagson has joined Southern Souls Band as a part of the guitar army. He will take
the place instead of guitarist, Roger Rapp, who has retired from the band. Rikard is an
excellent slide player, but also a great all round guitarist with his roots in the blues rock.
 

Christina Lundkvist and Johanna Bång has retired from the band. Southern Souls Band
will continue without backing vocals. Christina will  work with the management- and
production company, Musikdepartementet, and  other music projects with her husband.
 

Southern Souls Band has come to an agreement with the Swedish music dealer Jam
Music Shop. The agreement includes sponsorship of endorsement. The band is proud
to cooperate with one of the largest and grooving music dealers in Sweden.
 

The keyboardist, Magnus Blomberg, has became a proud father of a new born girl. Due
to the fact that the proud father will spend most of the time with his famuly, the band
will not perform until next year. All the band wish Magnus and his family all the best.
 

Southern Souls has finished the Norwegian tour, which was a great success. The final
of the tour took place at the biker festival, Griserally. The band wish to thank Hydra
MC, Nesodden, especially for their great hospitality and friendship.
 

Southern Souls Band has signed a contract with a new booking, management and
production company - Musikdepartementet. The new agency will take over the bands
management, national as well as international.
 

Southern Souls Band has been selected as one of the entertainers during the Tall Ships
Races 2007. The Tall Ships Races is the largest sailing race for large ships in the world,
and the band is proud to be a part of the great festival.
 

The first Swedish Southern Rock Night was a great success, booth for participating
bands as well as for the arrangements. The whole evening was recorded and will be
released as a new live CD and DVD. Release date is set to August 2007.
 

Southern Souls Band will perform at Southern Rock Night - the only southern rock
festival in Sweden - at Tantogården. The band will share stage with some of the
best Swedish southern rock bands, ZZ Rock, Rebel State and SRV Jam Session.
 

Due to serious illness of the lead guitarist, Daniel Milovan,  Southern Souls Band
had to cancel the show at Sweden Rock Tribute, Friday 30th March. Daniel is
about to recover, and all remaining shows will be fulfilled as scheduled.
 

Southern Souls Band will participate in a volunteer project to tribute and honor Ronnie
Van Zant, original member of Lynyrd Skynyrd and one of the greatest musicians and
song writers ever. The project is a world wide cooperation between artists and bands.
 

Southern Souls Band are proud to announce that the band has been elected as one of
the forty best tribute bands in Sweden, all categories. Without any doubts, this also
defines the band as the best southern rock tribute band in the country.
 

During the break for the female backup vocals in the band, the remaining backup
singer, Christina Lundkvist, and her husband, Hans Lundkvist, will start up a second
southern rock project, covering songs from the Rossington Collins Band.
 

One of the female backup singers, Johanna Bång, will take a break from the music since
she has became a mother to a new born southern boy. The band will continue without
the female backing vocals. Southern Souls wish Johanna, and her family, all the best.
 

In order to avoid confusion, mistakes and make a clear difference between other
organizations, both internal and external, the band has decide to change the name
to Southern Souls Band.
 

Southern Souls wish to thank all the venues, audience and others, who made this
to another great year for the band - ending with a succesful tour in Germany. The
band wish everybody a happy new year 2007.
 

Michigan Bike Week is cancelled. In its place there will be Muskegon Bike Week -

Staffan karlsson, the lead singer in Southern Souls, has got a child. The new born
girl is alreday dedicated to be a be a southern bell - her father will raise her in the
true tradition of southern rock. All the band wish them all the best.
 

The dates and venues for the weekend tour in Germany, December 2006, is now
confirmed. Southern Souls are looking forward to meet the audience and perform
together with our friends, Flatman, from germany.
 

Southern Souls have to cancel all shows during the spring and summer 2006. The
band apologize for all inconvenience for venues and audience, but will be back after
a reconstruction.
 

Southern Souls is scheduling their US Summer 2007  Tour, and the first venue to be
announced is Michigan Bike Week 2007 - Muskegon, MI. More shows will be added
continously.
 

Due to the fact that all previous records and DVD's from Southern Souls are sold out,
and will not be reissued, the band will release remastered versions of some material
from the CD Southern Souls - Rehearsal 2005. The release date is set to 1st May 2006.
 

Southern Souls welcomes our new bass guitar player - Nermin Radaslic - to the band.
Nermin has a long experience as bass player in different rock- and blues bands. He
also has a genuin and great feeling for southern rock music.
 

Southern Souls will perform in Germany as support to Flatman - the number one
southern rock band in Germany - in late December 2006. The first booked show will
take place at the Rock-Keller in Schwarzenbach/Saale.
 

Niclas Nordin, one of the founders of  Southern Souls, will leave the band - focusing
on his own soul project and writing original songs. The members of  Southern Souls
wish him all the best and good luck with his project.
 

Southern Souls and Pat Savage Band are currently working for a tour together
during spring/summer 2006. If everything works out, it will be an up to two
weeks tour - mainly Scandinavian - in Europe.
 

Southern Souls wish to thank the audience, venues and sponsors for the best and
most succesful year in the bands history. After the past final show 2005 the band
will take a short break until mid January 2005.
 

Southern Souls has rescheduled the release of their new original songs to the
beginning of  2007. This is done due to the facts of a compressed time schedule
and the overall working situation for the band.
 

According to the broadcasting of the live-show at the Urban Theater Southern Souls
have released a DVD video with the entire show. The DVD contains four tracks and
interviews with the band.
 

Southern Souls will perform exclusively in a live southern rock TV-show at the Urban
Theater, UPN14/TVW-Madison/Wisconsin. The show, with music and interviews,
will be broadcasted on Friday 11th, Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th November 2005.
 

Southern Souls will release a new live CD at the beginning of November 2005. The CD
will contain material from the past US tour, and is recorded live at the bands rehearsal
September 2005. A preview will be available, at the web site, mid October 2005.
 

After Dave Hlubek left Skinny Molly, for a reunion with Molly Hatchet, Mike
Estes and Pontus J Back decided to go separate ways. Southern Souls wish all
three of them good luck in the future, and we will sure perform together again.
 

Southern Souls Merchandise has reduced their current prices up to 50%. This is
done in response to the rising US dollar and the change of manufacturer on some
of the items. Current prices can be subject for changes.
 

During a limited time a free DVD package, containing three songs from the past
US 2005 tour, will be shipped together with the CD - Southern Souls/Live 2004.
This offer is only valid until 30th of  September 2005.
 

Southern Souls will start recording in August, and it will be the first time the band
record original songs of their own. The record will be released at the beginning of
next year, but a preview will be available at the web site in November.
 

Southern Souls would like to thank everybody - audience, staff, venues and friends -
who helped, and supported, the band during the US tour  After finnishing the tour,
the band will take a short break followed by a new recording session.
 

The Bad Bones, with originally members that later formed Southern Souls, will
make a time limited reunion during the second half of 2005. The Bad Bones
will perform as support to Southern Souls.
 

Southern Souls proudly announce a cooperation with PJB Enterprises. PJB
Enterprises has been booking wordwide since 1990, and represent artists like
Dave Hlubek - Molly Hatchet - and Mike Estes - Lynyrd Skynyrd.
 

Dave Hlubek has officially anounced that he will tour with Skinny Molly, during
April and May, despite the fact that Molly Hatchet will do an European tour at
the same time. Dave Hlubek will tour with Skinny Molly as earlier scheduled.
 

Southerns Souls will cooperate with the US band Skinny Molly - Dave Hlubek
from Molly Hatchet, Mike Estes from Lynyrd Skynyrd, Pontus J Back and Kurt
Pietro - during the Swedish part of their European tour in April.
 

Southern Souls has come to an agreement with Ford Motor Company, regarding
exposure of  Fords trademark. Southern Souls will proudly include the company
trademark and related products in the front position of their marketing.

Southern Souls is scheduling their US Summer 2005  Tour, and the first venue to be
announced is Black River Rumble 2005 - Black River Falls, WI. More shows will
be added continously.
 

Southern Souls has signed a contract with Cosmic Enteratinment LLC, regarding
promotion and performance in the US. Cosmic Entertainment handles a wide range
of music artists, and is the official booking agency for Harley Davidson.
 

Southern Souls is proud to welcome two new members to the band. Torbjörn 
Österlind - drums - and Johanna Bång - backing vocal. The new line up will give 
the band a greater attitude  then ever.
